An Open Letter to our Partners/Sponsors:

Every year the Emergency Medical Services/Quick Response Unit of Atlanta, Idaho engages in a community fund raiser that is the sole source of income for this team’s needs for the upcoming year.

Our unit consists of 8 EMTs and 18 Fire Department support personnel. We cover 100 square miles of remote wilderness and provide critical emergency response to our small remote town’s full-time residents, seasonal residents, and a large diversity of outdoor enthusiasts of all fashion.

Our team is comprised of all volunteers and has no formal source of funding. We are on call 24/7. While most of our calls stem from accidents that occur from the wide range of outdoor activities enjoyed by the visitors from the Treasure Valley and beyond, we also have multiple calls annually ranging from strokes, heart attacks, broken bones, etc. with our community.

Our Annual Fund Raiser, Atlanta Days, is crucial to our small community. It allows us to fund and support the needs that in so many cases have proven to be truly lifesaving. Additionally, we select a few community grants/projects to support on an annual basis. We raise these necessary funds, on an annual basis, through:

• Sponsorship (By means of sponsoring events at Atlanta Days which include signage of your company prominently displayed at the function sponsored)

• Product Donation (Items used in Live/Silent Auctions and Raffles)

• Cash Donation

Anything that you and your organization can do to support our efforts is critical to our success and greatly appreciated. Our annual Atlanta Days will be August 9th and 10th this year and we are counting on your support and are hopeful you can join us for some fun in the mountain sunshine during this time.
